How casting professionals post and manage casting calls
Casting Professionals (and approved Agents on behalf of productions) can post listings, review applicants, and close listings once cast.
Who this applies to
Casting Professionals on any paid tier. Limits vary by plan.
Step by step
- 1Open Dashboard → My Casting Calls → Post a new call.
- 2Fill in project details, role breakdowns, dates, pay, and location.
- 3Choose whether the listing is public or confidential (viewable only to selected applicants).
- 4Publish. The call appears in the directory within a few minutes after a light moderation check.
- 5Review applicants from the listing’s Applicants tab. Shortlist, message, or reject individually.
- 6Close or repost the listing once casting is complete.
Helpful notes & tips
- Listings with clearer pay / location details get higher-quality applicants.
- Keep confidential briefs for genuinely sensitive projects — Pro members can still apply but won’t see the brief until shortlisted.
Common issues
- Listing not appearing: it’s in light moderation — most clear within 30 minutes.
- Low application volume: check your role requirements aren’t too narrow for the visible dates.
