How to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your membership
You can change tiers or cancel at any time from Billing. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle so you always keep the time you’ve paid for.
Who this applies to
Members on a paid plan.
Step by step
- 1Open Dashboard → Settings → Billing.
- 2Find the role whose plan you want to change.
- 3Click Change plan to upgrade or downgrade, then confirm in the Stripe portal.
- 4To cancel, click Cancel plan. Your paid features stay active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
Helpful notes & tips
- Upgrading in the middle of a cycle is pro-rated by Stripe — you’re only charged the difference.
- Cancelling stops renewal but doesn’t close your account. Your profile, connections and history stay intact.
Common issues
- No Billing tab: only visible once you’ve made at least one payment. Free-only members don’t see it.
- Can’t cancel: if you have an active dispute open on Stripe, we’ll need to resolve that first — email support.
